"Heard This Week in Iran on Radio Farda" provides weekly highlights of news broadcasting to Iran by the staff of Radio Farda ("Radio Tomorrow"). Radio Farda is a joint effort by two entities of the Broadcasting Board of Governors -- Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and the Voice of America -- that broadcasts 24/7 to Iran via medium wave (AM), short wave and satellite. Published every Thursday by the Communications Divison of RFE/RL, "Heard This Week in Iran on Radio Farda" is distributed both to RFE/RL staff and to hundreds of external contacts.
